10 Day You Challenge - Day Two

Day Two - Nine Loves

1. I love Love. More specifically, I love being in love with my Hubby. It is such a great feeling to know that no matter what, I have someone on my team. Don't get me wrong, its is not always roses and chocolate, but I have to say that being married is a very wonderful feeling. I can't imagine my life any other way. All of the times and trials we have been through have only made us stronger and more prepared for what lies ahead. I am so blessed to be married to my best friend.

2. I love Twilight. Closet Twi-Hard, right here. I am not entirely sure what draws me into it. I am not typically one to enjoy science fiction, but for some reason I can't get enough. My only theory is the love story, being the hopeless romantic that I am, the idea of that kind of love is fascinating. Books. Movies. Blogs. Soundtracks. Scores. I love it all!

3. I love Christmas. It is definitely my most loved time of year. All the lights, smells, music, and feelings associated with the Holiday season warm my heart. I don't really care for the shopping and gift swapping. Sometimes, I think people get caught up in the hustle and bustle and lose sight of the true meaning. I would be totally fine without presents. Just give me a string of Christmas lights, a Christmas CD, and some baked goods, and I will be happy as a clam. I can't wait to have my own little family to start our own Christmas traditions.

4. I love Crafts. Crafting is definitely my outlet. I take inspiration from things around me. Pinterest has been a wonderful source of crafts, ideas, and recipes for me to try. I think spending time at the florist with my Mom when I was growing up has a lot to do with my creativity. I would love to do some crafting on the side, maybe like Etsy. I just might try it out this Summer when I have more free time.

5. I love Lists. I am a list making machine. Even if I don't use it, it helps me collect my thoughts. I have notebooks scattered throughout the house with list after list inside. I probably make at least two lists a day. However, I am very particular about my lists. If I make a mistake or get something out of order, I will start over. I cant just jot things down; it has to be pretty.

6. I love to plan Get-Togethers. Planning parties and playing hostess is a favorite activity for me. I just love being surrounded by family and friends. No matter the occasion. Whether it is a summertime cookout with a game of cornhole in the backyard or Twilight Sleepover, I love the company and laughter. If I could afford it, I would have some sort of shindig at my house weekly. I love to plan everything down to the smallest details. Themed foods and snacks, decorations, music, etc. are just a few of the things that excite me! Maybe I should be a professional party planner. Anyone want to hire me?

7. I love to watch College Football. Roll Tide! It is so bad, that I can't watch in public without embarrassing myself. I scream and jump up and down, frequently. I get very into it. And I am a sore loser. All through my high school career and even part of my time at JSU, I never really got into football. Once Ed and I started watching the Alabama games together, something just clicked. I understood the rules, the game and became obsessed. Is it September yet?

8. I love to Laugh. I know this is contradicting after my statement about crying all the time, but laughter is amazing. The best kind of laughter is the deep, belly laughs that hurt. I have to say that my dear friend, Christy Pack, is the best laughter-inducer in the world. It doesn't matter how down I feel, she can always make me laugh. I really think that everyone would be a lot healthier if they had a good "daily laugh." I can't imagine a day without laughter.

9. I love my Family. I wasn't blessed with a large family. I grew up with one sister, and three cousins that I saw on Holidays, and an extended family spread around the country. I have always been slightly jealous of those who have large families, and loads of relatives to grow up with. But then again, I think it makes me cherish the few people I do have in my life that much more. Lately, we have been having some conflicts with our schedules and haven't been seeing as much of each other, but I plan on changing this in 2012 as well.

I hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas, with all the warmth and love they deserve. Thanks for spending some time on my blog. Tomorrow's topic is Eight Fears. Stay tuned......
