30 Weeks and a 4D Ultrasound

30 Weeks

Haddie is the size of a Cucumber

Hello, 30 Weeks! To me, this marks the beginning of the end. Only 10 weeks left, maybe. I hope you enjoyed Hadley's Nursery Reveal and Hospital Bag Blog. For the Nursery Reveal, I had intentions of posting all the information and details for each photo with links to the tutorials I used. However, it was much easier to upload the pictures and be done. And Hadley's bag is packed and blog is up, and mine is not even started! Typical. Let's recap the week.

Once again, we had a normal, drama free week. No complaints. Haddie is still moving all over the place. My belly will change shapes and things will stick out, but I have yet to make out what part is actually poking out. Heartburn is still a daily thing. It really hasn't been too painful, thank goodness. Just enough that I notice it is there. I did notice that my feet were a little swollen last Wednesday night. It was really just the tops of my feet. Typically, I can see the veins and tendons in my feet at all times. But that night, they weren't visible. However, my toes or ankles were not swollen. I haven't had any swelling in my hands either. My rings can still go on and off without much effort. I have really been trying to make sure I am drinking enough water. I have heard this can help with swelling and water retention. Ravenous appetite is still hanging around too! So far, the scales are still being kind.

Christy and I did a little consignment shopping on Saturday. I got two fleece suits, two pairs of pants, a pair of jeans, and a onesie for seven bucks. Once again, I love consignment sales! I also got an early shower gift from some friends (who will be unable to attend) with several more outfits and shoes. Little Miss is going to be a well-dressed lady. Haddie also got two new, handmade blankets. One from her grandparents (Ed's Mom and Dad), and one from her great-grandparents (my Mom's parents). I love handmade things. I wish I had the talent and patience to create such a large finished product.

The definite highlight of the week has been the 4D Ultrasound! As you know, I was hesitant about the cost, but I am very glad that we did it. The ultrasound was done at Cloud Nine in Chattanooga. If you are in the Chattanooga area, I definitely recommend them. I was also thankful that most of our immediate family was able to attend as well. As usual, Haddie was her stubborn self! She has decided to turn head down (Thank Goodness!) and is in full blow cannonball position with her face buried facing my spine. So, we had to jiggle and poke at her to get her to cooperate. The pictures I have at the moment are pictures taken from the TV screen. I do not have a computer available to upload them at the moment. Our personal computer is completely unplugged in the "Hoarder Room," and the school laptop is at school. So, these will have to do for now.

Look at that pouty lip!

She kept her hand up by her face for most of the ultrasound. I think I see a little smirk too.

I hope you enjoyed our first glimpse of Haddie. I can't wait to see her in "RealD" as my Dad said! Have a great week!
